We’re searching for a VP of Operations in the Atlanta, GA area, someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you'll manage the operational performance of a primary care clinic, including oversight of all clinical (e.g., Medical Assistants) and non-clinical team members in our virtual clinic (e.g., Access / Contact Center staff), our supply chain management and our training staff. You'll manage an initial team of 30 FTEs, which is expected to grow significantly over time. You'll also be responsible for optimizing our workflows, where you’ll oversee all operational aspects that influence customer experience, access, quality, and efficiency. This position will lead the development of the ‘MSO’ or Managed Services Organization, empowering the company to grow through partnerships with independent or owned physician practices.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
· Develop new product rollout plans with executive leadership and oversee project management of new product launches
· Oversee operational performance of advanced primary care model including:
o Optimize workflows to maximize productivity and efficiency
o Optimize provider templates to maximize use of provider schedules
o Minimize friction to delight patients and lower cost of delivery
o Establish collaboration models that empower providers and staff and drive engagement
o Partner with Clinical Leadership to identify evidence-based best practices (where they exist) or innovate new best practices where they do not
· Design and develop MSO product including:
o Partner with clinical organization to define collaborative workflows
o Streamline integrations to drive up use of company services among partner practices
o Perform operational due diligence of prospective (brick-and-mortar) practice acquisitions
o Oversee practice integration post-acquisition
· Partner with HR to establish the foundations of a winning team including:
o Develop a recruiting strategy that ensures we meet our growth trajectory while keeping within our target performance thresholds
o Align incentives to ensure we reward team members for the right behaviors and create an atmosphere that is rewarding
o Ensure we train our teams to deliver exceptional experiences and create an environment that challenges us to grow
o Establish a collaborative and innovative culture as a bedrock of a winning team
· Troubleshoot problems such as non-working equipment, patient complaints, inefficiencies, workplace conflicts, and other items that may disrupt operations.
· Partner with IT and Executive Leadership to ensure we have the right technology and solutions for meeting our patients’ needs
Skills & Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, other related field. MBA preferred.
· Minimum of 5 years of industry-related experience, preferably in ambulatory clinic administration (ideally in primary care)
· PMP / PRINCE II certification (or equivalent) is a plus
· FACHE (or progress towards) is a plus
· Deep understanding of how an ambulatory clinic works, including a foundational knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle (coding, billing, prior authorization,…).
· Strong supervisory and leadership skills - experience in managing clinical and non-clinical teams
