Job Title: Project Accomplishment Office (PWO) Manager
Department: Base Operations & Maintenance
Job Summary:
This position will execute, lead, and coordinate day-to-day operations of the Project Accomplishment Office (PWO) activities at the assigned job site under the guidance of the BOS Project Manager in adherence to contractual objectives. The position supervises and coordinates activities of skilled trades workers engaged in maintaining and repairing equipment, structures, utility systems, buildings, and grounds at the assigned job sites.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Execute support objectives of the operation, maintenance, and repairs of all installed building equipment covered under the scope of the contract including supervision of all assigned Building Engineers at every site

In charge of the operation, maintenance, and repairs of all installed building equipment covered under the scope of the contract, including supervision of all assigned Building Engineers at every site

Solicits cost proposals for various projects, including the performance of quality inspections following project completions done by subcontractors

Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff

Oversees the daily workflow of the department

Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations

Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy
Duties/Responsibilities:
-
Assist with O&M Management administration functions, handling a variety of actions and problems relating to the assigned contract(s)

Plan, schedule and supervise the day-to-day operations of the Project Accomplishment Office

Monitor management plans designed to accomplish contractual objectives and provide direction and support to subcontractors, support staff, trades, and crafts

Responsible for scheduling and completion of work

Manages and commits contract resources; monitors budgets on assigned contracts

Responsible for safety of all personnel on the job, including sub-personnel, compliance with environmental standards, and quality of work performed

Research and address customer and employee complaints
-
Prepares customer correspondence concerning commitments, modifications, and change orders
Required Skills/Abilities:
-
Proficient written and oral communication skills according to skill requirements
-
Possess strong computer skills, able to read, write, and comprehend written instructional documents

Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume

Ability to apply concepts of introductory algebra and geometry

Proficient Microsoft Office productivity suite
Education and Experience:
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
At least five years of related experience required
-
BA/BS degree with a major study in Transportation & Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Strategic Deployment Planning, or related field
Physical Requirements:

Prolonged period of standing, bending, reaching, and working with hands

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Occasional periods of prolonged exposure to loud noises

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at times

Ability to stand, walk, and reach with arms and hands as necessary

Ability to hear and see to position and safety requirement levels

Occasional exposure to elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, and chemicals
Special Qualifications/Requirements:

Must be able to successfully pass as required a federal, state, or local government's background investigation
