Overview:
Under general supervision, performs professional work for the King William County Commissioner of the Revenue. Work involves reviewing and analyzing financial and real estate transactions and documents; reconciling accounts and/or transactions; posting transactions and/or preparing reports on financial activities and accounts. The list of essential functions, as outlined herein, is intended to be representative of the tasks performed within this classification. This position reports to and serves at the discretion of the King William Commissioner of the Revenue.
Essential Functions:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent. Must be proficient in Microsoft applications. Successful completion of college courses in accounting and math is preferred, experience, or training in GAAP accounting, government accounting or business administration preferred. The ability to work professionally with the general public and work under pressure is a necessity.
**Potential candidates will be required to complete drug testing, driving and background checks.**
