Job purpose

To provide leadership support and accountability for managing day to day Warehouse Operations, Employees, Order fulfillment and shipping Activities

Duties and responsibilities

• Manage day to day order activities from Receiving of Pick Tickets through orders process flow of to ship confirmation.
• Responsible in learning the wire cutting equipment and managing the productivity of others employees in the cutter area
• Responsible to work with Warehouse Supervisor and Warehouse Lead on daily orders selections at the beginning of your shift.
• Inventory Management: Responsible for inventory integrity through cycle counting process, internal movements, customer returns, vendor returns, and scrapping
• Manage overall shipping processes including cost containment of freight cost and scheduling of trucks for shipments.
• Responsible for daily shipping closed process which includes invoicing of orders
• Responsible for End of shift reporting
• Equipment: Maintain warehouse equipment through pre maintenance programs and repairs with support from maintenance and external property management
• Manage Temp Labor force through scheduling or work and monitor their performance reporting back to Warehouse Supervisor and Operations Manager
• Responsible for Safe and Security of the Building
• Enforce Safety Program through practice and procedures
• All other duties will be assigned by Warehouse/Operations Manager and Warehouse Supervisor.

Qualifications

Qualifications include:

• HS Diploma or 7 years of warehouse operations experience
• 5 years of warehouse operations experience
• Microsoft Office Products
• Experience Forklift Driver
• Bi-Lingual in Spanish is a Plus

Working conditions

Adaptable to climate controlled warehouse

Physical requirements

This is physically demanding job where the incumbent is required to stand for extended periods of time, lift heavy objects on a regular basis, do repetitive tasks with few breaks, and so forth.

Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs on a continuous basis
