Project Engineer Job Description

Kingsbury Companies, LLC is searching for a dedicated project engineer to assist with the scheduling, planning, forecasting, resourcing, and management of technical activities. The Project Engineer is responsible for ongoing projects' engineering and technical disciplines.

A successful project engineer should be able to work with multiple disciplines of projects while demonstrating excellent project management and supervision skills. You should also have excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills.

Project Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring assigned engineering projects.
  • Creation of project requirements, assigning responsibilities to qualified employees and monitoring the project team.
  • Client interaction to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field.
  • Monitoring quality control tasks on budgets, schedules, plans, and personnel performance and reporting on the project's status.
  • Cooperating and communicating with the project manager and other project staff.
  • Collaborate with Sr/Project Manager to ensure profitability.
  • Review all engineering tasks and initiate the necessary corrective actions.
  • Development of a resource plan with Kingsbury Companies Corporate Resource Manager for the project's needed equipment.
  • Creation and collection of project metrics and milestones.
  • Ensuring the project complies with applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.

Project Engineer Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering or experience in a related field.
  • A valid engineering license.
  • In-field and project planning experience preferred.
  • Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of design and visualization software.
  • The ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
  • Excellent project management and supervision skills.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, and best practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
