Seasonal Operations Manager (Rooms Division)
Overview: This position provides overall leadership for Rooms Division to include: Front Desk, Transportation, Housekeeping, Laundry and Maintenance. Reports to the Director of Rooms through the months of May through October.
Responsibilities:
· Works with Housekeeping Manager to ensure room times are flipped in a timely manner
· Ensures that resort guest feedback is accurately tracked, monitored and evaluated to ensure high scores in Medallia
· Coordinate with Sales Team and banquet staff to make sure conference space is ready for current and upcoming groups and guests
· Completes regular property walks to make sure all things are in place and communicate with each department with your findings
· Provides immediate support to each department as needed.
· Resolves issues with other departments inside area of responsibility
· Performs other duties as assigned, such as work the Front Desk, inspect rooms, shuttle guests, ETC
Qualifications:
· Ability to make decisions and work without supervision
· Possesses strong leadership and communication skills
· Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Must have professional presentation as an ambassador of the company serving as a property leader.
· Must have the ability to enforce operating policies and procedures in an effective and courteous manner.
· Ability to work days, nights, weekends, holidays
