We are looking for an Application Designer for our Columbus, OH office!

Summary:  Assists organization's internal and external customers regarding technical inquiries involving product properties, product application and performance.  Create and maintain technical documentation and drawing standards.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties:

• Communicate directly with Architects, Specifiers, General/Sub-contractors, and Project Owners regarding performance and implementation of Kingspan panel products.
• Communicate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations departments regarding technical product and application information.
• Develop/modify installation details and application instruction for non-standard conditions or Project-specific applications.
• Understand and communicate North American building regulations including structural codes, energy codes, testing and certification standards.
• Assist with maintenance of drawing standards.
• Provide Project specification review and project-specific product submittal.
• Assist with product development.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

• Read and understand architectural and structural drawings and specifications.
• Experienced with AutoCad, Revit, or other drawing programs. 

 Other Skills and Requirements:

• Valid passport and ability to travel.
• Be self-motivated and capable of handling multiple projects.
• Must be highly proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Outlook.
• High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Good spelling, grammar and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
