Reporting to the Sr. Director, HR, the Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for communication and administration of all areas of HR programs including compensation, benefits, staffing, organizational development, employee relations, and performance management.
This role is based in our Lexington office. Our office-based employees follow a hybrid schedule of 4 days in the office, and 1 day remote.
Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

Consult with employees and managers to address root causes of human resources issues, attempting to resolve employee relations issues with a systematic approach

Provide coaching and guidance to all levels of the organization, particularly partnering closely with senior leaders within certain functions

Advise hiring managers and functional leaders on compensation matters related to offers, market adjustments, promotions while keeping market data and internal equity balanced

Manage the preparation of data for payroll processing; maintain and oversee all employee changes via ADP Workforce Now; work closely with payroll team on special circumstances

Manage full cycle recruitment

Manage all employee leaves

Work with HR Director during open enrollment and performance management cycles

Oversee the maintenance of organizational charts by the HR Coordinator

Generate option grant, merit increase and other incentive memos

Assist with preparation of the performance review and merit increase processes; prepare and deliver all-company trainings

Manage and respond to unemployment claims and other HR related request from government agencies

Maintain monthly HR metrics and update annual Radford survey

Organize company-wide events and team building planning activities

Performs other related duties as required
Qualifications:

5 years of experience in Human Resources
-
Bachelor’s degree required.

Experience working in a fast-paced biotech or pharma organization strongly preferred

Knowledge of principles and practices of HR, knowledge of federal and state laws regarding employment practices

Experience working with HRIS systems and other HR-related platforms

Ability to maintain an elevated level of confidentiality

Ability to provide coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis and problem solving

Ability to work with all levels of the organization

Effective oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills

Strong commitment to compliance and ethical standards

Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.)
