Job Posting for Barista/Cashier at Kinkas Bakery Cafe
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea
- Take customer orders and provide exceptional customer service
- Operate cash registers and handle financial transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including restocking supplies as needed
- Follow guidelines for food presentation and serving
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
- Upsell and promote additional products or specials to customers
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations
Skills:
- Experience in the food industry, preferably as a barista or in a similar role
-Prepares varieties of coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks, such as expresso, café con leche, colada, café latte, and cappuccino, etc...
- Proficient in cash handling and operating cash registers
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for customers
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and handle multiple orders simultaneously
- Knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques
- Basic math skills for calculating orders, handling money, and making change accurately
- Familiarity with coffee brewing methods and techniques
- Understanding of food safety regulations and practices
- Fully Bilingual ( Spanish, English)
