MEDIA RELATIONS SPECIALIST FOR TRAVEL
We are searching for an entrepreneurially-minded Media Relations Specialist. For this position, we prize technical ability, curiosity, a learning mindset, and experience in travel.
This role will support the PR Team's leadership in a variety of tasks tied to daily account management and internal resource management.
Previous experience in PR or travel is a plus.
Conduct proactive media outreach via print, online, broadcast, and radio media as assigned
Compile talking points, media briefs, and booking sheets
Identify, maintain, and curate database of top-tier local, regional, and national media contacts
Support the execution of public relations events, including briefings, events, functions, stays, drops, media familiarization trips, and itineraries
Assist with the creation of press kits and multimedia library
Monitor, share, and track media results in real-time
Assist with coordinating media shoots and segments
Assist with the creation of monthly reports
Assist with contributing to comprehensive and thoughtful public relations strategies for partners to maximize exposure
Contributing to companywide, teamwide, and account brainstorms
Take thorough notes during internal and external partner meetings and share recaps
