SUMMARY OF POSITION

Kinsley is currently seeking a Concrete Saw Operator to join our expanding Utilities team. This role requires daily reporting to our Utilities Office located in Ephrata, PA for dispatching purposes. The primary responsibilities include operating a concrete saw to cut roadways for pipe and restoration crews. Additionally, the successful candidate will be expected to perform general laborer duties to assist pipe crews during downtime from concrete saw operation.

We're seeking individuals with a minimum of 2 years of experience operating a concrete saw, coupled with a willingness to learn and adapt.  We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package including Medical/Dental/Vision, Short Term Disability, Life Insurance, 401K Plan with company match and paid PTO/holidays.

TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

• Operate a concrete saw to cut roadways for pipe and restoration crews efficiently.
• Drive company vehicles to transport the concrete saw to designated job sites safely.
• Utilize the concrete saw for cutting tasks related to trenching and asphalt repairs as needed.
• Undertake general laborer duties during periods when not engaged in concrete saw operation.
• Ensure proper maintenance of equipment to maintain safe operating conditions.
• Fulfill any other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience operating a concrete saw.
• Capability to pass DOT pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screening.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are necessary for commuting to the dispatch office.
• Possession of a strong sense of direction.
• Demonstrated positive attitude and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
