Sales Specialist

SALES SPECIALIST NEEDED IN LAFAYETTE

Kirby Risk is looking for an experienced technical sales specialist to promote the repair of electric motor and mechanical components, field services, and predictive maintenance programs. The candidate must be a self-starter, build and maintain strong customer relationships, and consistently provide careful follow-up and follow-through with customer requirements.

What will I be responsible for in this role?

• Providing technical customer support for mechanical repairs and predictive maintenance services, pre & post-sale.
• Demonstrating effective communication with all Kirby Risk teammates while providing leadership and growth plans that drive our Repair & Services business.
• Providing technical assistance and direction to internal Account Managers as needed.
• Engaging in direct communications with electric motor and 3rd party services suppliers regarding technical applications
• Creating, running, and analyzing required reports for management review through daily and weekly tracking utilizing Kirby Risk internal software and the basic Microsoft tools.
• Assisting customers with quality issues and coordinating solutions with all vendor partners.

• College-level coursework or 2 years of experience in mechanical/electrical field services and/or product sales
• Understanding of electric motor and mechanical applications
• Ability to handle multiple tasks/priorities and successfully meet deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal and customer contact & communication skills
• Computer skills and aptitude; Microsoft Office preferred
• Must have a valid driver's license
