- Coordinate office activities and operations to ensure efficiency
- Manage customer appointments, phone calls, correspondence, and mailing (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
- Perform light bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing and monitoring accounts payable
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and processing orders
- Maintain general office files, including job files, vendor files, and other files related to the company’s operations
- Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial, and other data
- Assist colleagues whenever necessary
- Light housekeeping duties
Requirements:
- 1-2 years experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent organizational skills
- Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
- Experience with the Google Suite of programs is a plus
- Knowledge or experience with jewelry is a major plus
