Our data organization is structured into data verticals that focus on specific business domains, supporting all reporting and analytical needs within those areas. Each vertical is empowered with data analysts, data engineers, BI specialists, platform engineers, and ML engineers as required. Data verticals of similar domains are grouped to form a cluster. As an analytics manager, you will be responsible for leading our operations data cluster and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business success.

  • Lead data analytics and reporting efforts for an operations cluster comprising of kitchen operations, logistics and supply chain data verticals.
  • Manage a team of data analysts and associate analytics managers, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, design data-driven solutions, and ensure successful implementation.


What You'll Do
  • Team Leadership: Leading, managing, and developing a high-performance team, including daily tasks, weekly milestone planning, one-on-one meetings, quarterly objectives, and bi-annual performance evaluations
  • Strategic Leadership: Demonstrates exceptional strategic thinking skills, anticipates future trends and opportunities, drives innovation through data, and provides visionary guidance to shape the organization's analytics roadmap.
  • Data Vision: Supports and contributes to the team’s leadership in defining and operationalizing the processes and initiatives supporting the data vision.
  • Collaboration: Establish close and productive professional relationships with business and product partners. Contribute to weekly meetings to align on the cluster and vertical priorities and challenges, lead/support updates, provide guidance on the best practices.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders and cross functional leaders through asking questions, seeking clarifications, pitching ideas, and providing clear status updates. Facilitate negotiations and problem-solving through effective conversations.
  • Domain Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the domains in which the team operates, including hands-on experience with the data, metrics calculation, data quality issues and underlying business processes as well as software products supporting these.
  • Project Management: Lead complex, cross-functional and/or cross-domain data projects involving multiple stakeholders and dependencies. Supervise and communicate progress, resolve issues, allocate resources and mitigate risks.
  • Documentation: Contribute to data documentation by ensuring all projects are documented and continuously updating the knowledge base with relevant information.
  • Analysis and Synthesis: Support data analysts in their analysis and synthesis, reviewing their work, and suggesting new ideas.
  • Presentation and Influence: Prepare presentations for stakeholders and leadership, effectively explain technical concepts in a simple and concise manner and mentor analysts to effectively present their work. Use analytical insights to positively influence decision management.
  • Feedback: Accept and provide objective and constructive feedback, promoting a culture of open communication, growth, and trust within the team.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously identify and improve processes and practices by working with cross-functional teams to implement changes that lead to increased efficiency and productivity.


What Are We Looking For
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in analytics and reporting, with at least 4 years of experience in leading a team of analysts and collaborating with senior business leaders.
  • Strong technical skills in data analysis, statistics, data warehousing, aggregation frameworks, and database management. Familiarity with SQL, Python, and DBT is preferred.
  • Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey results and insights to stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to analyze complex data, develop actionable insights, and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, coach them on multiple fronts, delegate tasks, and manage performance.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and innovation, leveraging industry best practices and latest technologies
  • Experience working in a fast-paced or startup environment, with the ability to adapt to rapidly changing requirements.
  • Deep familiarity with relevant technologies is a plus.
