Program Data Support Clerk
Unit: Housing
Division: Housing & Community Support Services (HCSS)
Reports to: Housing Manager
FLSA Class: Non-exempt
Job Type: Full Time
Salary: $15.46/hr
POSITION SUMMARY
This position operates computers, completes paperwork and purchase orders, maintains databases, and performs data entry for the HCSS division. Must have proven ability to organize, prioritize, work independently, and develop projects with other team members.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED plus four years’ experience or Bachelors’ degree and two years’ experience in the data entry field. Appropriate experience may be substitute for education requirements
- Must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Must have experience in MS Windows applications
- Ability to type 50 words per minute accurately
- Operate and maintain computer equipment
- Must be able to communicate effectively and positively
- Ability to establish relationships of trust and respect with staff, families, and clients
- Must have concern for and understanding of low-income individuals
- Must have reliable transportation to use on the job and the ability to travel overnight
- Ability to pass Washington State Background Check
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSBILITIES
- Reports to and accepts assignments from the Housing Manager and other HCSS Directors/Managers
- Performs data entry into various data bases
- Completes, tracks, and maintains purchase orders
- Attends KCR and housing meetings and trainings as required
- Package, deliver, and pick up mail at designated times
- Provide backup coverage support for Client Engagement Specialist as needed
- Accepts other duties as assigned
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL/MENTAL FUNCTIONS
- This position requires intermittent sitting, standing, walking, twisting, and bending.
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
- Requires accuracy, excellent communication with KCR staff, good judgment, and the ability to remain calm and provide appropriate advice and information.
- Must be able to exhibit regular attendance.
