What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pastry Chef position at Kitsby?
We are currently in search of a PASTRY CHEF to lead menu development and oversee pastry creation and production for our dessert bar, outpost in Chelsea Market and special events.

Desired Experience:
- A spirited, enthusiastic disposition, with a commitment to team and dessert bar success
- A minimum of 3 years of culinary experience as a Pastry Chef or Pastry Sous Chef
- Strong administrative skills and prior experience managing the purchasing and scheduling aspects of a pastry department
- Experience hiring, training and mentoring an hourly BOH staff
- Ability to drive performance and results of a diverse culinary workforce
- A minimum of an Associate's degree in Baking and/or Pastry from a culinary school/university - preferred
- We are looking for someone who is interested in changing the game in the NYC hospitality scene focusing on Asian American Nostalgia.
