There is a medical clinic located in the complex as well as a satellite medical clinic in Karlstad, Minnesota. JOB SUMMARY:

Advanced Practice Provider (APP) within our clinic department, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care under the supervision of Chief Medical Officer (CMO). The role responsibility is pivotal, as it supports the continuity of care during physician vacation and leave of absence. In collaboration with other healthcare professionals, the APP will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients across a diverse spectrum of medical conditions, as well as providing preventive care and health education. Expertise in clinical skills will be instrumental in ensuring positive patient outcomes and promoting patient satisfaction. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

• Proficiently be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must be able to work independently and be able to work effectively as a team member.
• Ability to formulate accurate differential diagnoses based on clinical findings and diagnostic data. 
• Strong interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients and families. 
• Competency in performing clinical services requirements. 
• Proficiency in counseling patients on lifestyle modifications, risk factor reductions, and preventative screenings. 
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations governing clinical care (HCFA, MN Department of Health and Human Services, Board of Nursing, OSHA, OHFC). 
• Capacity to analyze complex clinical settings for appropriate problem solving. 
• Ability to manage faced-paced priorities and adaptation for clinical environment. 
• Commitment to quality control analysis, ethical principles, professional standards, and regulations governing advanced practice NP or PA practices. 
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare technology platforms. 
• Ability to participate and self-educate for job related educational needs. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree from a medical school, or Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant) accredited program. 
• Current Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant through MN Board of Nursing.
• Flexibility in scheduling. 
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. 
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• 1-year general experience in related care setting (preferred).
• Complete TB test within the first 2 weeks of employment.

 JOB SCHEUDLE/LOCATION(S):

• Hallock, MN and Karlstad, MN.
• Monday- Friday working hours are between 8:00am-4:30pm or 9:00am-5:00pm.
