POSITION OVERVIEW
The successful candidate provides property book expertise to various Product Leads, their staff, and the PM DoD Biometrics Property Book Officer (Government) in accordance with Army Regulation 735-5. Serves as the primary Contractor POC through which the site PBO/Responsible Officer (RO) will coordinate Government requirements. This position supports the Project Manager (PM), Department of Defense (DoD) Biometrics office under Program Executive Office for Intelligence, Electronic Warfare and Sensors (PEO IEW&S). PM DoD Biometrics designs, engineers, acquires, deploys, and sustains Enterprise biometric and forensic solutions in multiple operating environments enabling identity dominance on the battlefield and across the DoD.
DUTIES
The candidate will be expected to provide property accountability support which includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Property Book: Ensure entries into an approved Army Property System of Record (APSR) (i.e, Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS), Logistics Modernization Program (LMP), or Global Combat Support System - Army (GCSS-A)) are completed with 100% accuracy and within 24 hours of respective transactions in accordance with (IAW) AR 735-5, Property Accountability Policies.
- As a part of Inventory Management, this candidate will be expected to develop, implement, and monitor inventory management plans for several Property Book Officer (PBO) locations. PBO locations are those that have Government-owned equipment inventory that is maintained in an APSR. The exact number of locations varies based on the inventory schedule or movement of equipment.
- Serve as the lead for the coordination and collaboration of supplies and equipment disposition and movement.
- Will coordinate and execute annual inventories, quarterly inventories, monthly cyclic inventories, special inventories, and spot inventories
- Will serve as the lead for hand receipt reconciliation efforts
- Coordinates property accountability issues pertaining to compliance and corrective actions
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma
- Must possess a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in application of property accountability standards and use of an Army Property System of Record (ASPR) (e.g. PBUSE, DPAS, or GCSS-A)
Employment is dependent upon compliance with Executive Order 14042 ensuring adequate COVID-19 safety protocols for federal contractors and federal agency Covid-19 safety protocols to include attestation to COVID-19 vaccine status. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- A Bachelor’s Degree
- Training and experience equivalent to the skills required to meet Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act Level II for Life Cycle Logistics
- Experience working in a project management office performing duties such as management of property records, assisting in the preparation and processing of inventories with hand receipt holders, and conducting analysis to assist in the preparation of Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss (FLIPL) is highly recommended.
