Purpose of the Position:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations and activities to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Primary Job Duties:
- Supervise a large warehouse team (more than two full-time employees).
- Set and maintain performance and productivity standards.
- Manage operating costs and identify areas for cost reduction.
- Deliver excellent customer service in line with Courier Express standards.
- Develop goals and action plans to optimize warehouse operations.
- Maintain a safe, compliant, and positive work environment for employees.
- Resolve operational issues and provide feedback to management.
Secondary Job Duties:
- Train and develop employees, promoting the company culture and providing support for success.
- Make hiring and termination decisions.
Impact on Other Positions, Products, & Services:
- Ensure smooth warehouse operations to meet customer and company service expectations.
Qualifications:
- College degree or 2 years of relevant management experience.
Personal Skills Required:
- Self-motivated with strong planning and multitasking skills.
- Leadership and management experience.
- Highly organized.
- Ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Rapid problem-solving and attention to detail.
Computer Skills Preferred:
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
- COPS (or other relevant warehouse management software)
