Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Possible Extensions

Pay Details: $49/Hr. on W2

CST - Certified Surgical Technician (Operating Room)

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Operating Room, acute care settings, possess knowledge of medical terminology, and demonstrate proficiency in aseptic techniques.

Duties:

- Assist in preparing operating rooms for surgery
- Set up surgical instruments and equipment
- Pass instruments to surgeons during procedures
- Monitor and maintain a sterile field
- Handle specimens for laboratory analysis
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols
- Document patient information accurately

Experience:

The successful candidate should have the following skills and qualifications:

- Proficiency in suturing techniques
- Familiarity with Epic or similar electronic health record systems
- Experience in critical care, ICU, or ambulatory surgery center settings
- Knowledge of medical terminology and vital signs
- Ability to maintain a sterile environment using aseptic techniques
- Understanding of infection control practices
