Company DescriptionKlassic Recruiting and JAFRA Cosmetics International are partnering together to locate a Sr. Accounting Analyst for their Westlake Village, CA.Job DescriptionPRIMARY FUNCTION:The SFA will report to the Director of Accounting and will be part of the Corporate Finance team, which supports the global financial needs of the organization.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Play an active role in the monthly close process and ensure that the financials are accurate and timelyPrepare and Distribute Daily Sales reportPerform Monthly G/L Close – Journal EntriesPrepare I/C Invoicing and I/C Account Statements/Reconciliations between US/WW HQ and AffiliatesManage all G/ L Account ReconciliationsMonitor Central Europe, Italy, and US markets’ books for compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures.Support for and Analysis of Central Europe, Italy and US markets’ Tagetik Actual monthly financial information, as well as finance/accounting issuesPreparation of monthly, bi-annual, and annual financial statements and management reportingMonthly Reporting Package for EXCO – Tagetik output reports.Yearly Jafra Markets’ statutory books in Hyperion – US GAAP, upload exchange rates, markets’ financials, book journal entries, consolidateYearly Statutory Holding Companies’ Audits and Financial FilingsYearly Plan Balance Sheet – US Market - WW HQBi-Annual Legal Reporting for US/WW HQ - I/C Reconciliation in Tagetik, Financial data adjustments – pivot tableYear-End External and Internal Audit requirementsSupport the monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processesHQ Forecasting and Budgeting in JDE and TagetikSupport for and Analysis of Central European and US markets’ Tagetik Estimate, as well as yearly Budget reportingFluctuation analyses and financial statement analytics, providing relevant explanation for fluctuationsTRAVEL: None | Infrequent/as needed | FrequentAll other duties are as assigned.QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or BusinessEXPERIENCE: 5-7 years of relevant experience, preferably with international operations, manufacturing, and consumer products. CPA and/ or Big 4 experience preferredSKILLS: Ability to research and resolve technical accounting issues and draft accounting memorandums. SAP experience a plus; CPM planning software a plus. Excellent analytical and financial / complex modeling skills. Superior written, presentation, and verbal communications. Able to operate in a fast-paced organization and handle multiple projects simultaneously.OTHER:Worthy of trust.
