The successful candidate will collaborate with our Mechanical Engineering team, contributing to various projects supporting wayside and rail systems. Alongside assisting with CAD activities, the Mechanical Engineering Intern will play a vital role in assuming lower priority tasks, providing essential support to engineers working on higher priority and time-sensitive projects. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure the candidate’s success within KLD Labs and to complement ongoing engineering coursework.
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for 3D modeling and design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
