From earthquake and seismic engineering to the latest trenchless technology methods, Kleinfelder's Geotechnical Services support the planning, engineering, and construction of complex projects, and our specialists are leading experts in their fields.   Step into Your New Role Kleinfelder’s Denver, Colorado office is looking for an Entry Level Geotechnical Engineer to join our engineering team with experience, skills and interest in developing their career.

 

We are looking for someone experienced and/or with interest in:

• Geotechnical Field Investigations,
• Soil and Rock Classification/Boring Logs,
• Geotechnical Engineering Analysis, and
• Report Preparation.

The ideal candidate will have 0 to 2 years experience and:

• Positive work attitude and ability to work safely and efficiently when managing multiple tasks
• Willingness to work outdoors and travel
• Ability to work independently or with a team in a multi-disciplinary environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, Including Word, Excel, and Power Point preferred
• An ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers, supervisors, clients, subcontractors and regulators.

Education:

The ideal candidate will have:

• B.S. in Geological Engineering or Civil Engineering (geotechnical emphasis preferred). M.S. degree with geotechnical emphasis preferred

Additional:

• EIT is preferred (or the ability to obtain within 3 months).
• Some construction related experience is also preferred.
• Travel and outdoor work are anticipated about 30% of the time.

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act.  Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
