Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Grain Elevator Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating heavy equipment, forklifts, and commercial driving, with a background in food production or farming.
Responsibilities
- Operate grain handling equipment including conveyors, scales, and grain dryers
- Load and unload trucks with grain products
- Monitor and maintain grain quality during storage
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications
- Experience in operating forklifts and heavy equipment
- Commercial driving experience is a plus
- Knowledge of food production or farming practices
- Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Ability to fabricate and perform basic repairs
- Familiarity with tanker operations and food processing is advantageous
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal, Temporary, Temp-to-hire
Pay: $18.00 per hour
