Overview

Duties
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the registered nurse or physician
- Assist with patient assessments and collaborate in the development of care plans
- Perform various nursing procedures such as wound care, catheterization, and IV therapy
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Requirements
- Current LPN license in the state of practice
- Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation
- Experience in a variety of clinical settings such as ER, OR, ventilator units, or critical care
- Knowledge of dialysis, inhalation therapy, DME equipment, and specimen collection processing
- Previous experience in a teaching hospital setting is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
