KMC Rubber is seeking a highly motivated and results driven individual to join our Ontario, CA manufacturing team.
Position Summary
The Customer Service Representative plays a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the company’s reputation. This position requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to provide solutions that meet the customer’s needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Responding to customer inquiries and order requests through phone, email, or chat
- Providing accurate and timely information to customers
- Resolving customer complaints by obtaining the details of the issue and communicating to the team for investigation
- Assisting customers with product information, pricing, and availability
- Processing customer orders, returns and issues
- Maintaining a positive and professional demeanor when dealing with customers
- Collaborating with other departments within the company to resolve customer issues
- Updating customer information in the company’s system
- Meeting or exceeding customer service goals and performance metrics
- Support vision, mission and guiding principles of the company
- Follow all company safety and environmental policies
- Follow all Quality system protocols and report any discrepancies
- Able to work well under pressure and balance conflicting demands
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous customer service experience in a similar role
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize duties in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in a manufacturing setting a plus.
