What Will You Get To Do:
Review customer requests, analyze capability of KV to meet the request, determine the target manufacturing location, select internal resources and drive action for a successful customer outcome
Oversee and drive activities necessary as functional groups support the assigned projects
Assist with the product definition, design, development, documentation, and approval to ensure the customers needs and requirements are being met
Facilitate the activities needed to quote product to the customer in a timely fashion
Ensure the product design is within the schedule, cost, and budget parameters and summarize for project leads
Participate in the Design Validation Plan and Report (DVPR) and review the results
Participate in solving technical issues associated with customer and product demands
Define resources and timing commitments required to execute project goals
Facilitate and lead internal and external meetings, update project milestones and critical tasks
Work directly with AQE to ensure quality planning meets customer needs
Identify and quickly address changing customer requirements with appropriate strategies
Other duties as assigned
What Will You Bring:
5 years of proven experience in Engineering, Program Management, stakeholder management, and a demonstrated ability to produce and direct creative solutions from prototype to production. The desire and willingness to manage a team
Metal forming, injection molding, assembly and understanding of associated costs
Education: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field
Computer Skills: Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook,experience working with ERP systems, capable of using 3D CAD and project management software
Organizational Skills: Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently and effectively; Ability to work and manage cross-functionally and cross-globally; Strong project management skillset. Understanding and use of standard project management tools and techniques.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal skills; Strong interpersonal skills; Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information; Advanced presentation skills; Able to develop effective presentations and proposals to communicate with customers and other stakeholders.
