Job Responsibilities:
- Planning and implement age-appropriate daily lessons ,activities for children in care and identifying each child’s individual capabilities and needs
- Creating an appropriate learning environment
- Ensuring the welfare, health, and safety of all children
- Organizing and maintaining classroom activity areas, materials and supplies, and keeping the Admin. Staff advised of equipment and materials that need to be repaired and replaced
- Maintaining constant supervision of children
- Taking daily attendance and keeping all required reports
- Establishing and maintaining effective communication with parents
- Keeping up- to -date with in-service training and certifications as required
Qualifications:
- 2 year of teaching experience in a licensed childcare program RECOMMENDED
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
- CPR and First Aide certification preferred
- Must meet state specific guidelines for the position

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
