What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bulk Cement Tanker Driver position at Knife River - Texas Division?
Responsible to safely operate tractor-trailer to deliver cement powder.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Must be able to provide and maintain proper licensure, medical card and acceptable driving record.
2. Must have a CDL Class A (tractor-trailer) license.
3. Tanker endorsement required.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Perform daily equipment, walk around and site inspections to identify and correct any unsafe conditions and keep equipment properly maintained.
2. Accurately complete daily vehicle inspection.
3. Perform daily housekeeping on truck.
4. Safely operate and maintain truck.
5. Properly load & unload material.
6. Accurately complete log books where applicable.
7. Work with dispatch for daily delivery schedule.
8. Maintain proper insurance information in truck cab pouch.
9. Communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written) and work with difficult people under high stress situations.
10. Self-motivated, team-player with good interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive customer relations and act courteous/respectful of others.
11. Troubleshoot and problem solve situations/problems (material quality, equipment operation/repair, etc.). Monitor and discuss.

12. Ensure OSHA, EPA, DNR, safety and environmental regulation compliance.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.

2. Successfully complete Knife River's internal safe driving principles training.
