JOB SUMMARY
Complete training course provided by the company to be able to drive a Ready Mix truck to deliver concrete mix to job sites.
EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Must have completed the written part for your CDL license.
- Driving portion for the CDL will be provided by the company.
- Valid Driver's License. Must be able to obtain a Class “B” CDL within a reasonable amount of time.
- Must also be able to pass a DOT Medical Examination.
DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete training assignments that are provided by the company.
- Assist in daily truck inspections, positioning truck, attaching chutes, adjust drum, climb ladder with 3 point contact to inspect load or clean drum.
- Must be available to work overtime hours during the construction season.
- Ensure OSHA, DOT, EPA, DNR, MSHA, Federal, State, and Local safety and environmental regulation compliance including attending training.
- Reports any safety concerns.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
This is a full-time seasonal position with a winter layoff and a spring recall.
Typical hours during Production are M-F 6/7am-5/6pm. 1-2 Saturdays per month from 7am-12pm.
