What would I be
doing?
Coordinate risk
management committee meetings including putting together and vetting the agenda
topics, escalated items, meeting materials, meeting minutes, and tracking
follow up items
Establish and
maintain relationships with the broader risk management functions
Analyze and report
risk issues related to the regulatory portfolio of projects
Assist with the
creation and build out of project reporting including streamlining and align
reporting inputs/output with other areas and lines of defense.
Maintain a
document repository for all regulatory documents and key risk projects
Assist with risk
reporting including reporting to regulators, internal audit, and executive
management
Provide support
for various projects related to policy, governance, and regulatory guidance
Understand the
company’s risk management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the
risk governance framework
Assist in the
development and approval of risk management policies and procedures
What qualifies me
for this position?
Bachelor’s degree
5-7 years relevant
experience working in the banking and mortgage servicing industry
A background in
risk management and/or internal audit
Professional
certification in audit, risk or compliance a plus
Excellent written
and oral communication and presentation skills including the ability to deliver
clear and accurate messages to management
Strong reporting
skills, proficiency in MS Excel and Power Point and reporting software
Time management
and organization skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
Knowledge and
experience with MS Office tools (e.g. Word, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to quickly
comprehend all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures
that apply to the conduct of the business/function
