What are the responsibilities and job description for the Escrow Officer position at Knock?
As the Escrow Officer you will:
- Correspond with lenders, builders, real estate agents, and attorneys, as needed.
- Manage policy, processes, and procedures at the program level for the company. This includes cross-functional processing involving multiple work streams, as needed.
- Ensure SLAs are consistently met or exceeded in accordance with contractual requirements, as needed.
- Manage the entire real estate closing process, including compliance with real estate contracts, lender instructions, title requirements, company requirements, and other written instructions, as needed.
- Execute closing and obtain payments due, disburse funds to appropriate parties, and maintain follow-up necessary for transaction completion and issuance of policy, as needed.
- Examine title commitments for accuracy and identify any requirements, defects, and exceptions and work to clear the issues timely while effectively notating all systems to track progress, as needed.
Qualifications - You’ll Bring:
- Active Licensed Escrow Officer with onsite manager duties, located in Texas

- Have proven success working 100% remote in prior positions & are experienced working with a distributed, national team
- Education: High school or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

Our Compensation Philosophy: As a fully remote (U.S.-based) workforce, our goal is to ensure that all Knockstars are fairly compensated. Please note that the salary range information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position provided pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act for Colorado applicants. The salary range estimate for this position is: $48,000.00 - $56,000.00 USD.
The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package & benefits, will be at the company’s sole discretion, and determined by factors including but not limited to years of experience, job level, geographic location, and other relevant business considerations. The company also reserves the right to amend or modify this job description, employee perks, and benefits at any time.
