SUMMARY:
Ensures adequate supply of parts to be kept in stock to decrease production downtime by taking inventories, providing parts, replenishing stock, and maintaining stockroom.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Ensures part availability by taking inventory of stockroom parts, chemicals, and fuels.
- Provides service to mechanics by sorting and counting mechanics uniforms.
- Provides parts by issuing parts to customers and supplying parts to other plants.
- Updates inventory by tracking withdrawals and flagging low quantities for order.
- Replenishes stock by checking in and storing packages.
- Maintains stockroom by cleaning, sweeping and organizing parts.
- Contributes to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Contributes to the Company effort by continually looking for ways to improve productivity and customer orientation within department by use of better technology, procedures, and use of resources.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge/skills by using the performance appraisal system to access personal strengths and development needs to accomplish the strategic goals of the organization.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.91 per hour
