Knovva Academy is looking for a Content Marketing Specialist to ensure the business vertical’s marketing strategy is supported by an effective customer-facing content marketing strategy and a content asset library that impacts the stages in the marketing funnels.
Working with us, you will:
- Grow our user base, subscriber database, page views, and engagement
- Write clear and concise copy for ads, marketing materials, and websites
- Optimize content for the web using data and effective SEO tactics
- Proofread marketing content, website, and academic content
- Contribute to guidance and education in brand messaging, style guidelines, and voice
- Establish and manage a content calendar
- Manage our social media platforms
- Collaborate with other teams to cross-promote products to drive new subscribers and sales leads
- Identify ways to repurpose existing content in the form of webinars, whitepapers, infographics, and more
- Research trends related to Knovva and build out a content plan to capitalize on trending topics in new, fun ways
- Establish reports and dashboards to analyze our website and newsletter
- Orchestrate multi-step email and newsletter campaigns, including segmentation and setup
- Report on all digital marketing activities
- Help with special projects as needed
What are we looking for:
- You have 3 years of experience in content marketing and have worked with video, in-product copy, social media, email, blog posts, copywriting, and more
- Strong understanding of SEO and website best practices, including site audits and user behavior testing
- Experience consistently publishing impactful written content on the internet
- Experience writing, building, and segmenting email campaigns
- Experience in CMS and product marketing
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skill
- Project management skills, including the ability to manage several projects at a time
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Initiative, ambition, self-direction, problem-solving, and a deep sense of curiosity
- Solid understanding of K-12 education and education technology is a plus
The Content Marketing Specialist is a full-time position based in Knovva Academy’s office in Boston. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. Extensive travel is not currently expected. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not being offered at this time.
