Electrical Engineer Role in Specialty Chemical Manufacturing

About the Position:

We're seeking a seasoned Electrical Engineer to join our project engineering team, dedicated to advancing the capabilities of our specialty chemical manufacturing operations. This role is crucial for someone passionate about making an impact through the design and optimization of electrical systems and equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Your Impact:

As an integral part of our engineering team, you will:

Requirements

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Educational Foundation: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing setting, with a strong emphasis on electrical engineering applications
  • Instrumentation Expertise: Proficient in utilizing analyzers, and specifying and troubleshooting pressure, temperature, and flow transmitters
  • Motor Control Mastery: Skilled in the application and understanding of VFDs, inverters, motor starters, and 480V controls
  • Control Systems Design: Although not directly programming PLCs or DCSs, you're adept at designing the electrical aspects leading to computer integrations, including switches, valves, limit switches, indicators, and starters
  • Lighting Systems: Knowledge in designing and maintaining electrical lighting systems
  • Code Compliance: Well-versed in the National Electrical Code, ensuring all designs meet or exceed standards
  • Specialized Equipment Design: Experience in electrical design related to air compressors, centrifuges, pumps, and HVAC systems, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of our operations
  • Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder) to comply with employment regulations
