About the role:
Known’s Media Science team uses advanced analytics, machine learning, statistics, and algorithms to plan and optimize advertising dollars. We partner with our clients to translate their business goals into meaningful metrics, and to plan and buy media across all channels to drive those target outcomes.
We are looking for a Media Specialist to join the team and work alongside data analysts, buyer scientists and channel activation teams.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Drive performance for our media campaigns and amaze our clients through the development of objectives, strategies and recommendations in the video space
- Provide thought leadership on the evolving video marketplace, including trends, measurement standards, emerging technologies, and how they may benefit our clients
- Build and prepare written and visual content, communicating recommendations with storytelling
- Work with other channel leads and data scientists to build cohesive, comprehensive measurement and reporting
- Responsiveness to client requests including research reports, preparing schedules, buy highlights
- Assist in preparing deck slides for client buy presentations
- Day-to-day implementation, monitoring, management, optimization, and development of assigned campaigns
- Develop new approaches to optimize KPIs and improve Known IP
WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU HAVE
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in integrated video planning and buying
- Experience driving holistic video strategies, across both linear and streaming platforms. National video buying experience is a must, MVPD experience is a plus
- A history managing investment budgets of $30MM , efficiently and effectively negotiating buys
- Established vendor relationships and a keen eye for trends and emerging marketplace opportunities
- A data-oriented mindset, with an understanding of how to bring insights & analytics into the media buying process and how to tie success to objectives and learning agendas
- Superb communication and presentation skills, the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment with high attention to detail, and a strong sense of accountability
- Strong quantitative skills with the ability to think strategically about complex problems
- Experience working directly with clients is a plus

The base salary for this position is $80K - $90K.
This range is posted in compliance with state and municipal Pay Transparency laws. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible to receive additional Known benefits.
