Knoxville Rheumatology PLLC is an independent rheumatology practice providing high quality, patient centered and compassionate care to rheumatology patients in Knoxville, TN and the surrounding areas.

We are hiring an energetic, reliable and motivated medical assistant who will be responsible for;

- Obtaining vitals and rooming patients for visits with provider

- Answering phones and triaging to ensure smooth and efficient work flow

- Forward and/or calling in medical refills as appropriate

- Obtaining records from outside providers as necessary

- Obtaining prior authorizations for relevant investigations and/or rheumatologic medications as appropriate

- Contacting patients regarding investigation results as advised by provider

- In-office SC/IM injection administration

- Assisting with other relevant patient related tasks if/when needed
