Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Monitor alcohol consumption and prevent over-intoxication
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to coordinate food and drink orders
Skills:
- Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred
- Proficient in cash handling and operating a cash register
- Knowledge of bartending techniques and drink recipes
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus
- Strong customer service skills, including the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail in order to ensure accurate order taking and drink preparation
