Koch Capabilities Company (KCC) is seeking a Senior Financial Data Analyst to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute across multiple capabilities and Koch companies by delivering value through data driven financial insights. This position will engage, challenge, and provide fulfillment to a motivated candidate with strong critical and financial analysis skills, who's excited about applying data and analytics to improve decision making, and the ability to collaborate with key partners and stakeholders to deliver on business initiatives.
This position has responsibility for owning the financial data strategy and developing financial data assets within the KCC FP&A Team. It will be focused on delivering leverageable financial reporting dashboards across the organization, utilizing technology to improve processes, and engaging with finance partners to ensure data driven approaches meet business objectives.
What You Will Do
- Develop leverageable financial dashboards using modeling and analytics to provide insights and support strategic decision-making
- Build statistical modeling to track and forecast key financial metrics in order to highlight trends, anomalies, and measure against key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Partner with KCC FP&A and Accounting teams to effectively apply the data management strategy and deliver valuable financial data products that improve reporting, forecasting, and pricing processes.
- Present recommendations, develop action plans, and coordinate cross-functionally to solve problems through data driven approaches
- Demonstrate principled entrepreneurship to identify opportunities for optimization, transformation, and insightful financial analysis
- Experiment with technology, GenAI, and automation to improve financial reporting, forecasting, and other integrated processes
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience in financial analysis or other role that demonstrates solid understanding of financial concepts, performance measures, and economic principles
- Experience working with formulas and PowerPivot in Microsoft Excel
- Experience querying on large data sets, manipulating data and building measures and data visualizations in PowerBi or Tableau.
- Experience collaborating, anticipating needs and building relationships with technical resources (i.e. data engineers, etc.) and financial resources (i.e. financial analyst, accountants, etc.)
- Experience communicating business requirements to technical teams and presenting information in a concise manner to non-technical stakeholders

- Understanding of Koch Capabilities and the Businesses they serve or experience supporting a large company that utilizes data and technology to build assets that improve decision making.
- Demonstrate strong application of Principle-Based Management (PBM)
- Indirect leadership experience or experience influencing an organization through large change
