Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1st shift hours - hybrid availability
Salary: $68,500 (commensurate with experience)

What does this job look like daily?
- Leadership: Lead and mentor a talented team of AP & AR specialists.
- Process Management: Ensure accurate processing of vendor invoices and efficient management of accounts payable and receivable.
- Relationship Building: Maintain stellar relationships with vendors and customers.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts and manage cash flow.
- Procedure Development: Develop and uphold standard operating procedures for accuracy and compliance.
- Metrics Analysis: Analyze and report on AP/AR metrics, and continuously seek process improvements.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly reconciliations and financial reports.
- Issue Resolution: Be the go-to person for escalated vendor and customer inquiries.
- Industry Updates: Keep us up-to-date with industry best practices and technological advancements.
- Hands-On Support: Step in as needed to post cash receipts and enter AP invoices.
What do you need to do this job?
- Experience: 3-5 years in accounts payable and receivable roles, with progressive responsibility. Preferred candidates have additional experience in the trucking or logistics industry.
- Deep Understanding: In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership and mentoring skills to guide and develop a team.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office and advanced knowledge of accounting software.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication skills for interaction with customers, vendors, and team members.
- Professionalism: High levels of integrity and professionalism, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Adaptability: Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.
