What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Custodian position at Koch Companies?
We are adding to our team and looking for a Warehouse Custodian to join our team! This person will work at both our Minneapolis and St. Paul warehouses.
Who are you?
You are orderly and like to keep things clean, enjoy stepping in to help out and can work well alone in a fast-paced environment. You have prior warehouse experience and have operated a sit-down forklift (or have the ability to learn).
Hours: 8am – 4:30pm Monday – Friday
What does this job look like daily?
- Maintain cleanliness of warehouse facilities and surrounding area
- Maintain appearance of facilities through light paining, light snow removal, etc
- Backup dock worker with ability to safely and efficiently loads and unloads trucks, containers, etc.
- Work at either the Minneapolis or St. Paul warehouse daily (will know in advance)
Knowledge and Skills to be successful:
- 1 years of Warehouse experience, preferred
- Safely operates a sit-down forklift and reach truck
- Ability to effectively communicate with team
- Ability to lift at least 20 lbs. from the floor
- Ability to engage in manual labor for 6-8 hours a day
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions, including cold
- Basic computer and math skills
- High School diploma or equivalent required
