Our 10 locations are dedicated to providing outstanding quality and customer service. Brake Supply is more than just brakes! We re-manufacture transmissions, torque converters, differentials, drivelines, final drives, wet brakes, hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors, valves and much more.   Job responsibilities of the Apprentice  Machinist:* Manufacture precision parts used in the surface and underground mining machinery, as well as industrial markets* Ability to read and comprehend information on orthographic blueprints, as well as comprehend geometric dimensioning and tolerances.* Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjusts machine controls as required.* Capable of following quality control plans, special instructions, as well as, following direct supervision instructions.* Set up and run parts using CNC mills and lathes* Use precision measuring devices to ensure proper sizing* Maintain cleanliness of work area and tooling Job requirements of the Apprentice Machinist:* Currently enrolled in a trade school with courses in precision machining* Basic mechanical knowledge and ability* Strong mathematic skills* Basic computer skills* Strong written and verbal communication skills* Ability to interpret prints and drawings* Ability to work independently Compensation and Benefits of the Apprentice Machinist:* Competitive wages; based on skillset and/or education level* Train with the best technicians in the industry* Company provides ALL tools and uniforms* Medical, Dental and Vision; effective after 30 days, 1st of the month* 401(k) with company match  * Life and Disability insurance* Paid holidays, vacation, and personal time* Tuition reimbursement* Exceptional work environment……and much more!
