Koch Fertilizer Fort Dodge, LLC is seeking a Storeroom Associate to join our team in Duncombe, IA. We are pursuing a self-motivated individual to be a part of the Storeroom team driving collaboration and customer service to both internal and external partners. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to being detail-oriented and well organized.

What You Will Do In Your Role

• Advance Koch’s company culture, Principle Based Management PBM©
• Advance the safety culture of the site through storeroom operations
• Complete day to day storeroom activities including, but not limited to: shipping, receiving, cycle counting, kitting, and storage.
• Partner with cross-site teams to develop and implement best practices for procurement and storeroom management.
• Utilize data / systems / tools to automate workflows, log appropriate information, and streamline storeroom processes (item reorder, hard and soft reservations, min-max review, PO’s, BOM’s, invoices, etc)
• Executes the storeroom strategy through ensuring the maintenance and operations teams needs are met with proper inventory management and storage to include, but not limited to: managing on-hand inventories and accuracy of items/system utilization
• Work periodic overtime or on-call shifts

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

• Experience using computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
• Experience with mobile technology i.e. iPads/tablets,
• Current and valid driver’s license

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform repetitive and physically demanding task for extended periods (lifting, bending, standing, stooping, etc.)
• Must be able to climb stairs and move about an industrial manufacturing plant.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs. frequently
• Job will require viewing monitor screens, reading, and sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
• Required to wear any or all of the following PPE: safety glasses, hearing protection, goggles, hard hats, FRC, gloves, safety boots, PPE use is in accordance with the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for a given task.
• Ability to work in hot, cold, and inclement climate conditions

What Will Put You Ahead

• Storeroom experience in an industrial (chemical) manufacturing facility
• Experience using systems such as Maximo/CMMS, Tableau, or Alteryx
• Experience with Data analytics projects or automation implementation
