Koch-Glitsch, LP has an immediate opportunity for a Crating and Assembly Specialist, located in Wichita, KS! Current Shifts Available:
2nd Shift - 3:00pm - 11:30pm Monday - Friday
What You Will Do In Your Role
- Interpret drawings and set up equipment based off blueprints
- Crate equipment per customer requirements ensuring no damage to equipment during transit
- Load and unload trucks as needed
- Actively participate in KGLP safety program
- Cross train in different areas of the shop as required
- Ensure all processes are carried out with the required use of safety controls and PPE
- Problem solve while working through daily tasks in a collaborative work environment
- Work in a non-climate-controlled working environment performing physical tasks such as bending, standing, squatting and lifting materials up to 50 lbs
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
- Experience reading and using standard and metric tape measures
- Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship
What Will Put You Ahead
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience reading blueprints
- Previous use of ERP systems
- Forklift experience
