What You Will Do In Your Role

* Drive proactive quality practices, such as assessing our device designs for high standards of usability, reliability, and durability; including leading FMEAs or Fault-Tree Analysis with design engineers. You've dealt with enough quality problems that you'd rather prevent them from occurring.
* Lead our suppliers to develop and enhance their capabilities. We're raising our expectations of our suppliers and need you to guide our suppliers to develop and utilize their capabilities to meet our expectations.
* Validate parts and assemblies and ensure that suppliers are producing the equipment to design specifications and on time. We can't allow non-conforming or late product to ruin the customer experience.
* Evaluate device failures to understand root cause, prevalence, and economic impact. It's hard to make improvements until we know what to fix.
* Drive engineering and manufacturing improvements to our devices. You know our customers deserve the best, so you'll have a passion to prompt the team to get improvements to market quickly.
* Develop your expertise and influence our team to improve. Whether it's metrology, traceability, QMS, APQP, PPAPs, or many other skills, you have unique strengths that we want you to teach us.
