Who You Are

As part of the Trailer Maintenance team, you will be assessing customer needs, providing accurate service estimates, handling parts ordering, processing invoices, and scheduling appointments. You will play a big part in ensuring the smooth flow of work within the trailer repair and maintenance shop. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of trailer systems, repairs, maintenance procedures and possess excellent customer service skills.

Schedule: Mon-Fri: 8:30am - 5:00pm

Wage: Starting wage $27-$29

What does a day look like?

• Greet our valued drivers and customers and provide excellent customer service whether in person, on the phone, or via email.
• Listen carefully to driver and customer needs and document them accurately.
• Work with both customers and our in-house technicians to create the perfect schedule for service appointments, considering everyone's needs.
• Partner up with our skilled technicians to evaluate trailer issues, estimate costs, and keep customers informed of our findings.
• You will guide customers through our additional services or repairs and ensure they understand and approve before we get started.
• Maintain thorough service records, including the nitty-gritty of trailer details, repairs performed, and every step of communication with customers.
• Create clear and detailed invoices for completed services.
• Order the necessary trailer components and ensure they're ready when needed.

Knowledge and Skills to be successful

• Familiarity with the ins and outs of trailer systems, repairs, and upkeep. If you can talk shop about trailers, you're off to a great start!
• Your ability to translate tech-speak into plain English will make you a star here. Clarity and friendliness are your calling cards.
• Can you juggle multiple customer requests and service appointments with ease? We're looking for someone who has the magic touch for staying on top of things.
• Familiarity with computers would be a plus, but don't worry if you're not a tech guru. We're more interested in your willingness to learn and adapt.
• Your eye for details ensures that service requests, estimates, and invoices are on point. Nothing gets past you!

Minimum Requirements and Preferences

• 1 years of customer service experience, preferably in a trailer repair or automotive environment.
