Boiler Maintenance Technician

John Zink Hamworthy Combustion a Koch Engineered Solutions Company is looking for a Boiler Maintenance Technician to join the team in Tulsa, OK at their R&D Test Center. As a key role in the test center operations team, this individual is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the test center boilers, general facility maintenance, equipment preventative maintenance, and equipment reliability. This position will also assist with work related to customer burner demonstrations and R&D testing. This is a great opportunity to be part of an operative team and gain experience with a well-established and growing manufacturing and test facility!

 This role will be Monday-Thursday, 6:30am-5pm with overtime as needed. 

What You Will Do In Your Role

• Being integral in safe work practices
• Perform general boiler daily checks and duties to keep the boilers and associated equipment operating efficiently and reliably
• Coordinate annual boiler inspections
• Perform daily facility equipment checks
• Complete general facility maintenance items
• Complete facility preventative maintenance and reliability items
• Assist as needed with customer demonstration testing
• Plan and coordinate work with contractors when required on projects
• Develop and implement continuous improvement efforts to improve facility safety, equipment reliability, and operational efficiency

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

• Steam Specialist boiler operating license for high pressure boilers
• General knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and wiring
• Experience in a Mechanical field
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to become aerial lift certified (be able to work at heights up to 100’)
• Ability to become forklift certified
• Willing and be able to pass a physical assessment (willing and able to perform confined space entry work inside of test facility furnaces and related equipment, lift and carry 50 lbs, climb ladders and stairs etc.)
• Ability to work full time in all outdoor conditions in full FR coveralls

What Will Put You Ahead

• Previous Instrumentation skills
• Previous maintenance experience
• Experience with pipe fitting or related field
• Welding experience
