Koch Fertilizer is seeking a Reliability Leader to serve our Central Plains Nitrogen (CPN) fertilizer production facilities. The leader will establish and supervise a new cross-site team to capture reliability opportunities once and apply individually to the three similar sites.
This role can be officed at one of the following CPN associated sites:
- Beatrice, NE
- Dodge City, KS
- Ft Dodge, IA
- Wichita, KS
Regular schedule will be a flexible 8-hour day, Monday through Friday, with a blended office/remote working model. This role is eligible for relocation and sign on incentives.
What You Will Do In Your Role
- Develop and lead a customer-focused team that applies reliability & maintenance best practices to create value within a Principle Based Management® culture
- Understand and measure customers’ reliability goals; understand and develop plans to close the gap between current performance and the customer’s goal
- Integrate with site customers to ensure roles, responsibilities, and expectations are assigned to the right individual(s) with the right comparative advantage
- Oversee the team’s activities in support of its site customers, such as:
- Develop asset strategies and partner with customers to apply to specific equipment
- Establish and maintain an equipment bad actors list and develop corrective actions
- Support customers in accomplishing and learning from root cause analysis for equipment failures
- Support capital projects in applying reliability strategies and ensuring equipment is ready to maintain at turnover
- Support customers in developing and reviewing Turn Around (i.e., major maintenance outage) scope
- Travel up to 25% of the time to the CPN sites with occasional travel to other locations
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
- Proven leadership capabilities including mentoring, coaching and/or supervising technical team members
- Experience applying reliability and maintenance best practices
What Will Put You Ahead
- 5 years in oil & gas/refining or petrochemical industries
- 5 years Reliability/Maintenance experience
- Education in the engineering or technical fields
