Description
The Senior Environmental, Health, & Safety Leader supports Guardian’s SRG Global Coatings Inc in our Ripley, TN location in compliance with all relevant EH&S regulations and processes. This position, with support from local staff and EH&S regional teams, provides the technical knowledge and expertise needed to maintain and safe and productive workplace.
What You Will Do In Your Role
- Make a significant, positive impact every day by partnering with the Operations team to develop solutions, methods, and processes to reduce the overall risk profile of the facility
- Drive the follow-up and closure of EH&S action plans from activities such as audits and regional priorities
- Maintain compliance with existing, emerging EH&S regulations, timely and accurate recordkeeping of EHS data and reporting
- Provide leadership of the plant’s various Environmental Health and Safety initiatives such that the plants’ performance maintains and builds upon the company’s reputation as a proactive best-in-class corporate citizen
- Actively promote and leverage Market Base Management culture with emphasis on stewardship, compliance, and principled entrepreneurship, in transforming our business to create the greatest value
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental, Safety, Engineering, or a related field
- Three (3 ) plus years of Environmental Health and Safety experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment
What Will Put You Ahead
- Five (5 ) plus years of Environmental Health and Safety experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment
- Leadership/managerial experience in the Environmental Health and Safety function
- Experience interacting with and training all levels of employees regarding regulatory and company EH&S requirements
- Experience with Environmental, Occupational Health, and Safety regulations
- Experience in Federal air permitting requirements and processes
