Description
Are you interested in being the next Inventory Specialist for the Logistics team at the Morehead KY SRG Global plant? We are looking for a self motivated employee to work with all users across the plant and external warehouses to assure inventory accuracy.
What You Will Do In Your Role
- Ensure employees understand and follow documented safe work practices.
- Write and revise work instructions across the plant related to Inventory Transactions, Cycle Count, Month End and Year End Inventory across the plant.
- Responsible for leading month and year end inventory.
- Responsible for completing cycle counts.
- Responsible for updating CMS as needed to assure inventory Accuracy.
- Responsible for disposition of obsolete materials.
- Responsible for communicating with various onsite and offsite warehouses.
- Training and development of new and current employees on correct usage of CMS to assure accurate inventory on Raw Materials, WIP, Components, Packaging and FG.
- Responsible for following all environmental policies, procedures, work instructions and requirements applicable to his or her work, including the proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Special projects as assigned

- Willing to work overtime, even on short notice.
- Ability to calculate simple mathematical equations

- Previous manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of CMS or other ERP systems
